Since graduating from SMU Law School in 1996, Marquette William Wolf has tried cases where several hundred million dollars were awarded. He has tried dozens of jury trials to verdict. The types of cases that Marquette has tried to a jury include: wrongful death, real estate fraud, breach of contract, pipeline failure, environmental contamination for a major U.S. city, personal injury, property damage, medical malpractice, child abuse, fraud, theft and wrongful denial of insurance benefits. In addition to trying a broad spectrum of cases, Wolf has handled a number of arbitrations in commercial and consumer matters. Marquette was instrumental in investigating, researching, gathering evidence and the trying the landmark case against Koch Industries in Smalley v. Koch. Marquette has recovered millions of dollars in verdicts and settlements for victims of wrongful death, fraud, abuse, civil rights violations and for the elderly who have been neglected in nursing homes. Marquette concentrates on wrongful death, business litigation, environmental contamination, serious personal injury, physical abuse and civil rights cases. His accomplishments in litigation have been reported in all local news papers, the Texas Lawyer and the National Law Journal. Wolf has repeatedly been named as a "Super Lawyer" by Texas Monthly. He has been invited to join the Million Dollar Advocates forum and is a member of the College of the State Bar.
