Attorney Ron McCallum is a skilled litigator for The Law Firm of Ted B. A member of the College of the State Bar of Texas, Ron is the 2009 President of the Mesquite Bar Association and was recently re-elected to hold the same position in 2010.  He has held the Flight Safety elite Pro Card since 2007 and is an Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association Appointed Support Member for Lancaster Airport.

Education

Ron received his J.D. from the South Texas College of Law in 2001, where he was a member of the International Trade Law Journal.  He graduated from the University of Oklahoma with his B.A. in 1997.  He trained at the University of Oklahoma's flight school as a professional pilot in single, multi-engine, and turbine aircraft, and later assisted in the development of the school's crew resource management curricula.

Ron is a corporate aircraft captain, an aircraft manager, and a flight instructor specializing in turbine aircraft.  He frequently presents seminars to area pilots regarding FAA regulations, FAA enforcement actions, and aircraft acquisition and tax issues, and he has worked for several leading flight schools and fixed base operators in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.  He has flown more than 40 models of fixed and rotary wing aircraft, both nationally and internationally.
